Kinnelon Ice Hockey Club
Summer Camp/Fall Tune Up

 
The club will be holding a summer camp at Skylands Ice World on August 25th to
August 28th. There is no cost for registered fall players of Kinnelon Ice Hockey Club.

Enrollment is limited so please RSVP at your earliest convenience. We will keep a spot open for club members until June 29th. If you have not RSVP’d by then, we will open up enrollment to non-club players. Cost for non registered Fall 2008/2009 club players will be $300/player. Coaches at the camp will be:

Randy Velischek: Played 13 years of professional hockey, and 10 years in the NHL
with the NJ Devils, Quebec Nordiques and Minnesota North Stars. Randy has 20 years
of experience directing and coaching youth hockey camps and clinics for players of all
ages.

John Warchol: John has coached youth hockey since the 1960’s. He has coached for
the Essex County Chiefs, The Rockets, The Devils Youth Hockey program and Seton
Hall Prep. He was named the high school coach of the decade for the 80’s. John also
has coached at the summer ice hockey camp at Bowdoin College in Maine.

Jeff Myrhen: Jeff is the current Kinnelon Varsity Ice Hockey Coach. Kinnelon High
School won the State Public B Championships in 2008. Jeff lives in Lake Hopatcong.
He attended Jefferson Township HS. Jeff competed in several sports up to and
throughout HS and college. He competed in ice hockey, soccer, and baseball. After
graduation he attended CCM and played two successful years of hockey while earning
an AS. After CCM he attended Seton Hall University and played two more years of
hockey while completing his undergrad. After SHU he attended Montclair State
University where he completed his MAT. He is currently a physical education teacher
at the South Mountain Elementary School in South Orange and just completed his
third year of coaching at Kinnelon HS.

Group I - Mites/Squirts

8:30am - 9:30 am on-ice

9:45am - 10:30am dry land

10:30am - 10:45am snack time

11:00am - 11:30am lecture

11:45am - 12:45pm on-ice

Group II - Peewee/Bantams

9:45am - 10:45am on-ice

11:00am - 11:45pm dry land

11:45am - 12:00pm snack time

12:15pm - 12:45pm lecture

1:00 pm - 2:00pm on-ice
